Date – December 11 Weather – Clear, no new snow Song listened to today – My December by Linkin Park Arrived at Cloud Dragon Temple today. It is as beautiful as everyone says. Thousands of steps up the mountain to the stone courtyard where the monks train in combat, the snow swept from the courtyard so that the mosaic stonework shows. Manga characters are made of basic geometric shapes, the more you know how to put those together in your mind, the better you will be able to draw them. A good practice to drawing better manga characters is with still life. 1. Draw an egg with all angle, under a single light source. The egg shape represent the basic shape of the face, once you get the egg shape down and you are able to imagine it in your mind in all angle, you are one step closer being able to do manga face in all angles. 2. Still Alive

Touching base here and letting everyone know that I was indeed able to successfully escape the Alien spacecraft alive and unharmed. If you want to know more, read all about my daring adventure in Sunday's paper. I am close to beginning my novel, having taken time off to plan it and develop my ideas. While I won't be posting the work here, I commissioned a good friend of mine, MumfordVsJakazi, to draw concept pictures of two of my characters (Violet and The Raven). Once they are completed I will let you know, and direct you to them. Apart from that, work is work. Been turbulent recently, but it's planing out now. More hours, more money to go

No indeed. I hope this message finds you well.

I try to keep busy these days. I just finished putting a race shifter in my Sprinter today, and am kicking back. I feel more and more like Takumi from Initial D every day.

Car aside, I'm working on a VN. Pretty cool stuff, I have to say. It's good to see my writing going toward something living, you know?

Apart from that, not much. Learned that there will be a Cosplay event in Brisbane in early April (Brisnova), so I'm trying to work out who I could cosplay as with my build...

Initial D is pretty good. A manga where the main character streetraces a Sprinter against modern drift cars. Also has elements of intrigue in the relationship he tries to have with a girl from school.

As for the convention, started thinking that I may dress as Kotomine Kirei from Fate/Stay Night. I'm pretty tall and got a good build for it. Debate is still open though.

Yeah man, it's been too long, but I don't usually come on dA much anymore.

Yeah I'm still writing, although I'm looking into being scriptwriter for a Visual Novel right now for a change. I'm pretty hyped about that.

And yeah, still unemployed. Global recession isn't helping any more than I thought it would, but I'm still looking.
